Cape Cod Pride Festival
The Board of Directors of Cape Cod Pride and all our members would like to thank you for your continued support.
It has been a tumultuous time for everyone these last couple years dealing with covid as safely as we all possibly could. As you know, safety concerns for everyone’s health had kept Cape Cod Pride from putting together a Pride festival for the last two years.
Although we would have loved to put a Pride festival together this year, we unfortunately do not have the volunteers. It has been a difficult decision. We cannot hold a Pride festival without our tried-and-true helpers. We consider this another loss to covid, as people went about life in a different way after covid, many of us moved, grew older and some have a true fear about being in close contact with large crowds.
Cape Cod Pride is still alive and well, with new members joining us almost daily. We will regroup.
We are as committed as always to our group purpose, to build bridges of understanding, connection and support among the LGBTQ community, its allies, and the community at large.
During the pandemic, Cape Cod PRIDE continues to help connect the Cape's LGBTQ Community by offering virtual gatherings, local establishment activities, online games as well as socially distant outdoor activities.
